Xiaomi Civi 2 confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Soc

Xiaomi Civi 2 launch event will be held on September 27 at 2 pm. According to the official report, Xiaomi Civi 2 weighs 171.8 grams and is 7.23 mm thick. It focuses on the “thin and light feel” and will launch a Hello Kitty custom version. Previously, it was revealed that the Xiaomi Civi 2 would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip.

Today, Xiaomi officially confirmed that the Xiaomi Civi 2 is equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. Xiaomi said that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platform uses the same architecture ISP as the Snapdragon 8 series flagship processor, which can process 2.5 billion pixels per second and shoot at a much higher speed. At the same time, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile platform has 8 core modules inherited from the Snapdragon 8 series flagship processor, with 10% better performance, 20% better rendering, and 30% better AI algorithm, which can bring users a more intelligent image experience.

Xiaomi Civi 2 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip

Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 uses Samsung’s 4nm process and includes one 2.4GHz Cortex-A710 core, three 2.36GHz Cortex-A710 cores, and four 1.8GHz Cortex-A510 cores. Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 features an Adreno 662 GPU that delivers 20% faster performance than its predecessor. It also features an X62 5G modem that enables 4.4Gbps download speeds and dual 5G connectivity. WiFi-6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are supported, as well as Snapdragon Sound and aptX.

As previously reported by Xiaomi officials, the Xiaomi Civi 2 will feature a Sony IMX766 50MP rear camera. The front cameras include a 32-megapixel professional main camera and a 32-megapixel super wide-angle camera, and the front multi-color temperature soft light allows users to choose different light effects in different scenes.

Xiaomi Civi 2 has a built-in 4500mAh battery and supports 67W wired fast charging, which can be charged to 100% in 40 minutes. At the same time, Xiaomi Civi 2 adopts a 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming screen, which officially claims to “reduce visual fatigue in low light, comfortable viewing and more eye protection”.
